09/15 Meeting Sharon, Glen, Pam
Several dates for workshops and training to start preparation for the grant were discussed.
  • 10/27 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Pam to facilitate training to analyze student work and data analysis. (stipends)
  • 11/03 All day training, My Access training at EASTCONN Session 1
  • 11/04 12:00 to 4:00, Pam to facilitate training on analytical scoring.
  • 12/01 All day training, My Access training at EASTCONN Session 2
  • Need to look at the possibility of a Sat. morning training, tentatively 11/14

MyAccess accounts should be available by Oct. 21.
Laptops and wireless bases stations should be ready for student use by Mon. Oct 26.
Teacher laptops and cases should be available by Oct. 26.

09/07 eMail from Sharon
The horror has begun. Pam Skelly can be here to provide inservice for us on October 27th, November 2nd, and November 4th from 12:00 until 4:00. Al, let me know what info you need from us. Coverage will be needed for lunch and recess duties, as well as A1, A3, A4, A6 from recess end until 1:40 and A1, A2, A6 from 1:40 until end of day. There are a number of possibilities for coverage we can explore as needed.
Thanks for your help - just remember, over $50,000 in services and hardware, one of only eight in the state!

09/06 meeting
Jim Huggins, Pam Skelly, Al Yanku, Glen Lessig, Sharon Loughlin, Lisa McCormick, Kathleen Green.

We discussed creative ways to provide coverage for afternoon PD sessions focusing on holistic scoring and analyzing student work. Projected dates were 10/19, 21, 27, 29, 11/02, and 11/04. Our objective is to begin MyAcess training in early November. We will need to develop schedules for prompts, parent training and summer workshops.
